Do you ever get the feeling there has to be a better way?

Where on earth do I start?

Those thought’s kept bouncing around my head at the start of 2015, I had enough of the 9-5 grind and I wanted to start something for myself. I mentioned this to a friend one day already established in their own business, his enthusiastic response was ‘come to the Canton Fair’!

So four weeks later I land in Hong Kong, then a fast train through to Guangzhou where the Canton Fair is held twice a year, having researched the fair prior to leaving Australia nothing could prepare me for the enormity of this show. What an experience from a discovery and business opportunity perspective, it is the largest trade fair in the world and after 3 days I still didn’t get to see all pavilions. Since then I have started sourcing directly from these exhibitors that has been life changing.

Today it provides an opportunity to bring clients from all over the world to the Canton Fair, our international team along with myself have extensive experience with working through this Trade Show since 2015 along with sourcing products from all over the world for the last 25 years, having worked in China, Hong Kong and Vietnam, we understand the key strengths of our manufacturers along with what pinch points that come up with overseas manufacturing. You have to be detailed with your requirements, understand the culture and build those relationships.
